GRAPHIC ACCORD / SCOPED EVIDENCE & BUYER CONFIDENCE

TRUST THE DETAIL.
CHECK THE SCOPE.

A useful verification system tells buyers exactly what was checked, by whom, when and for which site, process or product. A generic tick is not enough.

NO ISO CERTIFICATE?
SHOW THE CONTROL INSTEAD.

A supplier can document its own quality process: traceability, exact proof release, agreed tolerances, equipment checks, sampled results, complaints, rework and corrective actions. A competent reviewer can assess that evidence under a published Graphic Accord protocol. This route does not award ISO certification.

WHAT THE REVIEW WOULD CHECK.

Reduce avoidable remakes, installation failures and repeat purchasing cost through scoped quality evidence.

  • Responsible quality owner and versioned process description
  • Material/variant acceptance and traceability records
  • Exact artwork/proof release controls
  • Defined dimensional/colour/finish tolerances with buyer agreement
  • Equipment check and measurement records relevant to the claim
  • Sampling plan and actual sampled QC records
  • Nonconformity, complaint, rework and corrective-action records
  • Packing, delivery or installation acceptance and follow-up evidence

From submission to a current public status

  1. Supplier drafts scope and selects evidence permissions
  2. Platform triages completeness without granting a badge
  3. Independent competent reviewer accepts assignment and records conflicts
  4. Reviewer samples records and issues findings under a named protocol version
  5. Supplier responds with corrective-action evidence
  6. Reviewer issues pass, limited scope, more evidence required or reject decision
  7. Public permitted summary links to exact current status
  8. Expiry, new findings and scope changes reopen review; appeal goes to another reviewer

Document-only review stays desk-based. A site audit requires actual attendance and a signed scoped report. Membership payment and automated completeness checks cannot grant either result.

Certificate scope stays precise

Record the standard number and edition, named holder, issuing body, registry evidence, sites, process scope and validity. ISO publishes standards; it does not issue company certification. A management-system certificate does not verify every product. Transitioning editions follow the issuer's current decision.

Leaf Accord's environmental role

Grant only the required environmental evidence, subject, purpose and permitted fields to a named Leaf reviewer. Graphic Accord can display the permitted finding and its method boundary once reviewed. Buyer finances and production quality remain outside that environmental finding.

Every future badge needs a stable status reference, exact subject/revision, reviewer, evidence versions, method, sample, dates, exclusions and current status. Scope changes, expiry, serious findings, withdrawal and appeal must remain visible.

THE RULES BEHIND THE BADGE.

Separate identity, certification, evidence review and outcomes

Do not collapse these into one universal Verified tick. Show the specific assertion: identity checked, certificate registry checked, QC evidence reviewed, sampled site audit completed or buyer-confirmed outcome.

Never sell an assurance decision

Membership affects promotion and services only. Review eligibility, reviewer independence, acceptance criteria, adverse findings, expiry and appeal apply equally to free and paid profiles. Any separately commissioned human assessment must quote work effort without promising a pass.

Bind a badge to its precise subject

Each result names the legal organisation, site, process or product variant, method version, exact evidence versions, reviewer, review date, valid-until date and exclusions. Organisation management-system evidence does not automatically verify every product or job.

Accept a documented non-certified route

A supplier without an ISO certificate can submit its own production and QC procedure, sampling records, equipment checks, proof-release controls, traceability, complaints and corrective-action evidence. A reviewer can assess this published Graphic Accord protocol without calling it ISO certification or ISO conformity.

Keep exact standards and current certificate evidence

Record standard number, edition, issuer, certificate reference, sites, scope and registry result as separate fields. Check scope and validity; an uploaded certificate alone is a declaration. Do not revoke a transitional certificate just because a new standard edition exists; obtain the issuing body's applicable transition decision.

Use competent review and a visible method

Document-only review is explicitly desk-based. An on-site audit requires actual reviewer attendance, sampled records, competence, independence and a signed report. Automated completeness checks may assist triage but cannot establish physical process quality or accredited status.

Expire, suspend, revoke and appeal visibly

Use a server-owned decision log. Expiry removes current display eligibility. A serious new finding can suspend a claim pending review; revocation includes a reason and public status history without exposing confidential evidence. Independent appeal and correction routes must exist.

Leaf contributes only environmental scope

The owner explicitly grants selected environmental evidence and a named review purpose to Leaf's review lane, with expiry and revocation. Graphic Accord receives only the permitted finding and evidence references. Quality/rework/cost verification stays Graphic Accord's responsibility; neither brand inherits a whole-company endorsement.

Protect buyer spending and project confidentiality

Private buyer spend, quotes, invoices, supplier prices and margins remain object-scoped. Public case studies require explicit publication permission from relevant rights holders. A derived aggregate requires disclosure-risk assessment; deleting names is insufficient.

Measure cost and quality without inventing causation

Publish sample count, period, denominator, exclusions and evidence level alongside any first-time acceptance, on-time, rework-cost or repeat-use metric. Savings compare like-for-like frozen scope, currency, tax basis and period; selected baseline and actuals are separate from estimates. Buyer confirmation is not an accredited performance guarantee.

Identify advertising before engagement

Use Advertisement or Advertisement feature prominently. Paid placement does not change organic price, quality or supplier-fit order. A decorated profile is a storefront, not a reviewed supplier award.

Review claims and mark-use rights

A green claim requires exact boundary and supporting evidence; certificate and scheme logos require permission. Public badges link to status details and a stable verification reference, and cannot be self-issued by profile editing, import or payment.
