Meaning in graphics work
A silicone-edge graphic is a finished textile graphic with an edging intended to insert into a compatible receiving frame channel. The fitted edge is part of the system.
It differs from a loose fabric print. Channel geometry, edging dimensions, sewing allowances and textile behaviour affect whether the finished panel fits and sits as intended.
Example and practical consequence
A retailer refreshing an existing lightbox needs its frame identity and confirmed graphic template. A fabric panel prepared for another profile may have the same nominal size but an incompatible edge.
Specify the complete finished graphic rather than only the printed rectangle. Review which side faces outward, insertion sequence and corner treatment, and test fitting where the equipment is uncertain. The category name cannot establish backlit suitability, material performance or compatibility with every frame carrying a similar label.
