Meaning in graphics work
A signed download link is a time- and scope-limited URL produced under a service's access mechanism to retrieve an identified resource. Its actual restrictions depend on the provider and configuration.
It differs from a permanent public URL or an ordinary filename. Anyone holding an applicable bearer link may be able to use it within its validity, so distribution matters.
Example and practical consequence
A supplier permitted to receive one artwork version should get access scoped to that file and period, rather than an unrestricted directory or another client's assets. The engine must first decide the relevant grant.
Use the actual provider's supported expiry and revocation design, and keep private links out of public logs and reports. Do not assume that removing a menu invalidates every previously issued link. Verify access behaviour through the commissioned storage integration instead of treating a fabricated token in a draft as protection.
