Meaning in graphics work
A session is a mechanism for carrying an established interaction context across requests. In authenticated applications it allows the service to recognise the signed-in principal within controlled limits.
It differs from indefinite identity or organisation authority. Session validity and the user's current record permissions remain separate questions that need enforcement.
Example and practical consequence
A user can keep independent secure sessions on Graphic Accord and Leaf Accord while referring to the same permitted engine identity. The unrelated domain names do not justify sharing cookies or treating one origin as authority for the other.
Use the commissioned provider's secure session design, exact origin settings and appropriate expiry or renewal handling. Recheck membership and grants when performing consequential actions. A browser session containing local tool inputs is a useful draft context, but does not provide the verified authentication or private tenancy of an externally hosted engine.
