Meaning in graphics work
A readiness indicator summarises whether defined requirements for a stated stage have been satisfied. Its meaning depends on the checklist, evidence and decision it represents.
It differs from a decorative percentage or a guarantee that every aspect of the campaign is safe and complete. Unknown, missing and pending conditions should not count as confirmed.
Example and practical consequence
A kit can have printed graphics ready while still missing a structural component or installation permission. A simple complete flag for print production would conceal the remaining obstacle.
State the readiness stage and the conditions tested, with links to actual records and owners. Keep physical checks, approvals and provider commitments separate where their authority differs. An indicator should explain what needs action next, preventing a successful arithmetic tool result or scheduled date from implying that the job may proceed without its necessary evidence.
