Understand the construction
A portable counter is a supplied or fabricated counter intended to be transported and assembled in stated conditions. It may combine a top, support, graphic faces, storage and cases; portability does not identify one construction or guarantee safe handling.
For an exhibition reception point, determine the counter's actual function, planned contents and available footprint. A graphic wrap is one component, while the top, connectors and supporting system need the provider's confirmed configuration and permitted use.
Specify the actual job
Specify the counter model or fabrication drawing, components, deployed and packed dimensions, graphic template and assembly arrangement. Ask the provider for actual loading, handling and maintenance guidance. Include cases and any accessories in the inventory rather than recording only the printed front.
Limits and evidence
Portable does not mean one person can safely handle every assembly or that all tops accept arbitrary equipment. Added contents, missing connectors and damage can affect continued suitability. A replaceable face does not prove that the structure remains ready without a condition and completeness check.
Obtain current system instructions and inspect the actual counter before reservation. Confirm any venue-specific requirements with the responsible parties. When reusing hardware, keep its condition and replacement parts distinct from the new graphic order, with actual care and packing information available to staff.
Next useful action
Use the transport planner for the real packed counter and the reuse planner for retained components. Attach the exact graphic template and assembly instructions to the handover, then assign setup and return inspection before planning another campaign deployment.
