Meaning in graphics work
A pop-up display uses a collapsible frame or supporting arrangement that expands for presentation and contracts for storage or transport. Its graphics and connections are system-specific.
It differs from a retractable graphic cassette and from a modular wall assembled from independent panels. Similar outward shapes can conceal different frame and attachment designs.
Example and practical consequence
A stored display may contain several linked sections, graphic panels and clips. Preparing it for a new event requires checking all essential parts, not simply producing a replacement image.
Identify the equipment model or measure unknown hardware, record component counts and inspect its opening and locking arrangements. Confirm how the replacement graphic attaches and whether separate panels align. A useful inventory prevents an apparently complete transport case from becoming an unusable display when one essential connector or foot is missing.
