Meaning in graphics work
An access review checks whether existing permissions still match current roles, relationships and record needs. It keeps authorisation aligned with the organisation's actual work.
It differs from a login check or a one-time invitation. A person can remain authenticated while no longer entitled to access a former client's files.
Example and practical consequence
When an agency relationship ends, the client needs private artwork, budgets and exports protected from the former collaborator. Pending jobs, cached views and shared links require consideration as well as the visible membership list.
Identify current owners and grants, remove obsolete access through the authorised process and verify the affected routes. Keep continuity permissions separately scoped where they genuinely apply. A browser-local client selector is useful organisation but cannot perform a server-side access review or claim the tenant isolation required by an authenticated shared workspace.
